Hotel Alhambra Palace

The Alhambra Palace is a prestigious 5-star hotel, whose roots can be traced back to January 1st 1910 when it was officially inaugurated by King Alfonso XIII. It was built by the Duke of San Pedro de Galatino, a great visionary who predicted that tourism would become a flourishing industry in Granada and thus invested in such project. Throughout its history, the hotel has witnessed major political and cultural events in Granada and quickly became a symbol of luxury travel and hospitality, welcoming illustrious guests, from royals to Hollywood stars. 
The on-site restaurant on the top floor serves an exquisite regional cuisine alongside scenic views over Granada and the Sierra Nevada. This is also where the American breakfast buffet is dished out every morning, stacked with pastries, fresh fruit and hot dishes.

There are 108 comfortable rooms and suites, each featuring a unique décor, from moorish-style bathrooms to shiny wooden flooring and coffered plaster. All rooms offer special views of Granada or the forest of the Alhambra and are stocked with full packs of amenities, coffee makers and complimentary welcome mineral water.

The Alhambra Palace Hotel sits on Granada’s Sabika hill, overlooking the Alhambra forest. The citadel can be reached with a delightful 10-minute stroll. The old town is also within walking distance, while the airport is a 30-minute taxi ride away.
